| As one of the top producing Golden Retriever stud
dogs (100 champions to date, with many others also titled in the field, agility,
and/or obedience), Kirby left a legacy
of strikingly beautiful type, intelligence, movement, and color. Here are
just a few of his kids and grandkids who have made their owner's lives a little
more wonderful by their companionship, teamwork, and accomplishment.
This is NOT a "doggy dating service," but rather a
**celebration** of the legacy that Kirby left, and a place for each of us
to say thanks.

Dusty was the 'birdy' one in the litter, according to Joanne, and she picked him for me because I told her I wanted a dog that could hunt as
well as perform in conformation. Dusty trained really hard, got his WC
quickly and his first 3 JH legs in short order. That 4th leg, however, seemed to take forever! With some unlucky breaks at tests and my poor
handling, we agonized through several tests before finally finishing his JH. Now, it's on to CD!
The last time that I saw Kirby was at the National in Rhode Island when he bounded into the trailer, some puppy jumping all over him! He cuddled
up to say hi, then was off to visit other friends. We didn't say
goodbye...didn't have to. |

Lois is now five and enjoying the fine art of obedience.
She's getting pretty good, but I still don't understand the sit heal sit
thing. Lois is my baby. She goes everywhere with me and thinks life
driving around in a Volvo is the end all be all. She's done well in the
show ring she has three major one specialty win, but I am most proud of
her for what she did for me at the Garden. Flurry doesn't fly so Lois came
with me at a year and a half old to my final show in juniors. She
blossomed over night in New York. She seems to think that the city life is
the way to go all the people tell her how cute she is, and that's her
favorite thing to hear. I'm so proud of her for giving me everything she
had and did everything I could've asked her to do. I am just brimming with
pride over her. Breeding a dog that I love so much and who acts the way a
golden is supposed to act, that's the best thing. Thank you Kirby for
giving Lois such wonderful genes and that wonderful golden
personality.
